Shaw and Partners Rows for Mental Health: $266,607 Raised for Gotcha4Life
On Thursday, 18 September 2025, Shaw and Partners team members across New Zealand and Australia came together for a remarkable cause - participating in a nine-hour rowing challenge to raise funds for Gotcha4Life, an Australian mental health charity.
Each office was set the challenge of rowing non-stop for nine hours, and the entire Shaw and Partners network stepped up. From early morning until late afternoon, teams across both countries rowed in solidarity, raising awareness and vital funds for mental health support.
Staff got behind the cause with enthusiasm, not only rowing on the day but also fundraising individually to support Gotcha4Life’s mission. The organisation promotes mental fitness and suicide prevention, with a strong focus on resilience, community connection, and the importance of seeking help. Their programmes, workshops, and resources reach schools, workplaces, sports clubs, and communities across Australasia.
In New Zealand, the challenge kicked off at 7:30am in our Auckland office, before moving through to our Cambridge and Canterbury teams.
Thanks to the dedication of everyone involved, the Shaw and Partners team in New Zealand raised nearly $15,000. Across the wider organisation, we’re proud to share that a total of $266,607 was raised for Gotcha4Life.
A massive thank you to all Shaw and Partners staff, supporters, and donors who made this possible. Your efforts are helping to build a more mentally fit and connected future for our communities.
